Agent skills I build for my own engineering work, published in case they're useful to anyone else. Scope, impact, verification, adversarial review, and handoff, built to work together as one system, with more skills in development.
What It Does
A set of agent skills that follow the Agent Skills open standard: each skill is a directory containing a SKILL.md. They are currently tested only on Claude Code. Each one reports and proposes instead of changing things on its own, shows the reasoning behind a finding instead of asserting a verdict, and states what it didn't check.
Key Features
scope: defines what is required, optional, and deliberately excluded before implementation starts, with a reason for every exclusion
dev-council: runs a hard architecture decision past five advisors and produces a verdict with explicit reversal conditions
impact: maps what a change reaches before it is made and ends in a risk rating with its reasoning shown
verify: requires runtime evidence before a task is called done, and states what was not verified
adversary: attacks an implemented change across selected surfaces and shows the findings it ruled out
reflect: routes lessons from finished work to where they should live: a test, a rule, a constraint, a skill, or nowhere
context: keeps the main conversation's context spent on what changes the next decision
handoff: condenses a session into a note a fresh session can resume from
technical-writing: structure and plain sentences for reports, PR descriptions, commit messages, and docs
clarity: reviews prose for AI-generated tells before publishing, and flags rather than rewrites
What's Next
Features I'm thinking about adding slowly:
investigate: forces observe, reproduce, trace, hypothesize, and root cause before code is edited in response to a bug
distill: checks whether a verified solution can get smaller without getting worse
